Approaching the Perito Moreno GlacierThis Glacier is about 19 miles long and one of only three Patagonian Glaciers that are still growing. It is similar to the Hubbard Glacier in Alaska because it often moves forward creating an ice dam, and it's also one of the few glaicers in the world to still be advancing. In all it's about 97 square miles of ice.
